Laundry Labelling and Lost Items

With the changes in season and pending Christmas festivities we know many families and carers will be bringing in new clothing for their loved ones.

We’d like to share a gentle reminder to ensure all items are clearly labelled with the resident’s name before going through the laundry. This helps us make sure every item is returned correctly to the right person.

To make things as easy as we possibly can, St Catherine’s offers a clothing labelling service. Simply drop items off at front reception and our team will take care of the rest through the laundry. The cost of each label is $1.

Items that are not labelled can be very difficult to identify once washed, so labelling helps us avoid any mix-ups or losses.  If you have any questions or need assistance, please feel free to contact Tomarsh or speak with Kerry in the laundry. 

Additionally, if your loved one is missing any clothing that you believe may be unlabelled, please do not hesitate to see Kerry in the laundry.
