St Catherine’s Day Care program offers carers peace of mind with safe, social, and professional daytime support for their loved ones.
Daily Support, Peace of Mind
We appreciate and understand that carers needs are so very often forgotten. Accordingly, we have developed a day respite program which enables a person to enjoy the benefits of residential care on an ad hoc basis.
Our low care program, offers respite in a safe, welcoming and social environment and is available from Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) between 9am to 5pm.
Why use Respite Day Care?
Our Day Care service offers a range of supports and activities designed to promote wellbeing, independence, and social connection in a safe and welcoming environment.
Access to allied health, nursing, hairdressing and other services may also be arranged for those attending the day program. Our day respite service has a focus on healthy, positive living through structured activity programs.
Who can use the Respite Day Care service?
Our day respite services are available to people subject to an assessment by the St Catherine’s Care Manager or a nominated representative. St Catherine’s will assess your respite needs and outline any eligibility and assessment requirements, fees and care planning.
It should be noted day respite is offered on a planned or emergency basis and due to high demand is subject to availability.
