St Catherine’s has an obligation to provide a safe and respectful workplace for all staff, residents, families, and visitors.

Following an unfortunate incident, St Catherine’s has sought legal advice to ensure appropriate steps are taken in line with our responsibilities and obligations. One of the actions arising from this advice is to ensure all who visit us understand a St Catherine’s Code of Conduct for Visitors is in place.

The Code of Conduct outlines the expectations for behaviour when engaging with staff, residents, and others within our community. We recognise that caring for a loved one can be emotional and, at times, challenging. We remain committed to listening to concerns and working constructively with families; however, interactions must always be respectful and appropriate.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in supporting a positive, safe, and respectful environment for everyone at St Catherine’s.

A copy of the Code of Conduct can be found on our website (code of conduct)

Should you have any questions regarding this communication or the Code of Conduct for Visitors, please do not hesitate to contact a member of our management team.
