Where Care Meets Comfort

We offer 72 modern and well-maintained private single rooms, with features including:

  • modern décor, carpet and window shutters
  • tiled ensuite with shower, toilet, heat lamp, non-slip vinyl flooring, handrails and contemporary joinery
  • king single, floor lying bed with pressure relief mattress and over bed table
  • Elsi Smart Floor System under carpeted areas (a state-of-the-art intelligent flooring solution and fall prevention device using a series of proactive alarm notifications allowing nursing staff to be alerted of movement without invading the resident’s privacy)
  • Guldmann ceiling track system
  • Modern joinery fitted with 42″ Smart LED Flat Screen television on a swivel bracket
  • Built in bedside table fitted with telephone and USB charging points
  • Dual sliding door wardrobe with a lockable draw for personal items
  • Ceiling mounted, individually controlled reverse cycle heating and cooling
  • Bay window looking out to beautiful gardens

St Catherine’s provides all linen and high care equipment requirements, however, we always encourage new residents to bring with them additional small items to decorate their room so it feels personal and more like home.

In addition to our thoughtfully designed private rooms, St Catherine’s also offers a range of modern shared facilities to support comfort, connection, and wellbeing throughout the home:

  • Large screen televisions and sound system in lounge areas
  • A fully equipped multipurpose room which can be booked for private resident functions
  • Hair and beauty salon
  • Undercover storage for mobility scooters
  • Modern facilities for visiting health care specialists including gerontology nurse practitioners, occupational therapists, podiatrists and dieticians
  • Teleconferencing facilities
  • Commercial kitchen
  • IT facilities to provide all residents with in-room access to zoom or facetime

Little Extras

Three central living areas and six sitting areas are located within the building for residents to meet visitors, relax in private, socialise or participate in activities. We encourage family and friends to visit any time.

The Delaney Chapel is also available for prayers and religious services.

Established gardens around the building include two internal courtyards located on either side of the dining room offering seasonal flowers, seating and many visiting birds! Residents are encouraged to comfortably move around the building between the ground and first floor with the convenience of two fully serviced internal lifts.

The building is equipped with 24 hour external and internal CCTV and electronic security monitoring.

Absolutely. All rooms come with a 42″ Smart LED television on a swivel bracket, USB charging ports, and in-room internet access for Zoom or FaceTime.

Yes. Every room is fitted with individually controlled reverse cycle heating and cooling for year-round comfort.

Yes. Residents have access to lounge areas with large-screen TVs and sound systems, a multipurpose room, hair and beauty salon, outdoor garden views and courtyard spaces.

Definitely. We provide in-room IT access to help residents stay connected through video calls, as well as private spaces that can be booked for family gatherings or special occasions.
