Your Wellbeing, Our Priority
At St Catherine’s we offer personalised care and support to all our residents. We are committed to helping our residents live longer, healthier, happier lives and in doing so have access to the very best care possible. Our staff are highly trained and experienced and will treat all residents and their loved ones with the dignity and respect they deserve.
01
Assessment
As part of the admission process a staff member will meet with you (and / or your nominated next of kin) to identify individual needs. This includes information such as care needs, family, life history, likes, dislikes and interests.

02
Care Planning
A Care Plan is then developed and tailored to meet the resident’s specific needs. These plans communicate the resident’s needs to our staff and are updated on a regular basis. Any change to the Care Plan is made in consultation with you and/or your representative. As a resident of St Catherine’s, you may request to read and discuss your Care Plan at any time.

03
Alternative Therapy
A range of alternative therapies can be accessed at residents own cost.
04
Allied Health
St Catherine’s offers a Wellness Program to provide multidisciplinary allied health services to increase resident health and wellbeing.
Our Wellness Program offers a physiotherapy service privately to the residents of St Catherine’s who are wanting specific therapies in the comfort of their room.
There are many benefits to participating in the program, including managing pain, exercising safely in the grounds and community, building strength and endurance, and socialising with other residents.
Physiotherapy is a non-invasive and non-pharmaceutical treatment option that can help reduce mental health issues and improve overall quality of life.
05
Physiotherapy Services (Extras):
Residents are offered regular one on one therapy session (30 minutes) with a physiotherapist at a scheduled cost per session. In the allocated time, residents have the opportunity to access client centred therapeutic services including:

06
General Practitioner
Residents are encouraged to retain their current doctor, although it should be noted not all practitioner’s consult externally and you will need to confirm with your GP prior to admission whether they will consult at St Catherine’s. Should a new medical practitioner be required, we can supply a local list who currently visit St Catherine’s.
